As well as my academic qualifications, I am an entry-level member of the Chartered Institute of Editors and Proofreaders (CIEP).

Outside work

As well as proofreading and editing, I am also a freelance musician and a freelance artist and maker. I’m a writer, currently concentrating on writing my first novel, nature-inspired speculative fiction. I write poetry, short stories, and I love experimental writing. My writing mentor is Andy Couturier, I have attended his classes for 2 years now, and they are constantly inspiring.

I am also continuously undertaking career development work, such as attending workshops and courses, keeping up to date with developments in the writing and publishing world.
